<p>Another yardstick is how frequently candidates look up your organization.</p>
<p>We sourced information from our go-to <a href=”https://ahrefs.com/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>SEO Tool ahrefs</a> to ascertain which firms candidates inquire about the most.</p>
<p><em>Approach &; Notices:</em></p>
<p>Our approach is straightforward though not without flaws:</p>
<ul>
<li><em>How We Counted Searches — We noted the # of instances monthly there was a Google inquiry with “[company name] jobs”.</em></li>
<li><em>Notices —We understand that individuals other than candidates (e.g. analysts, vendors, rivals, etc.) search for “[company name] jobs” so our findings aren’t flawless. Nevertheless, it’s the most reliable apples-to-apples comparison we could devise. We excluded “Long Tail” searches (e.g. for Amazon, only “Amazon Jobs” is considered and not more specific inquiries such as “Amazon Delivery Jobs”.</em></li>
<li><em>For entities with an acronym (USPS) that are also searched under full name (US Postal Services), we merged their traffic.If a firm had a symbol (e.g. the “&;” in AT&;T, we incorporated the queries for both search terms.</em></li>
